at last I am getting out my 2009 workshops, classes are all for paneled fabric, hard-back shades except the feb. 17th which is a drum shade class. Get a sneak preview of my book, The Lampshade Lady's Guide to Lighting up Your Life, to be released Aug, 09 with Potter Crafts.
One class is all you need to learn the basics of lampshade making. I will share my tips, tricks, sources with you. Use your own fabrics, vintage or new. Check my blog for good ideas, embroideries, bark cloth or comtemporary quilt fabrics- mix and match fabrics. Reservations are a must, class size limited. Don't put it off too long or you may miss out.....
Class prices: Drum shade class, $85. includes everything but fabric (will need 1 1/2')
Paneled fabric class $150. includes everything but fabric(will need 1/2')
