To my dearest doggie Odie, I shall miss you terribly. You were my most handsome, sweet, loving, loyal buddy a girl could ever have. And you did like your girls. I did share you with your BethAnn, Scarlett and Phillipa and then all my wonderful customers at the Lampshade Shop. You always made them feel special; you would make them get down on the floor with you and rub your soft ears or rub your butt. Those foxy eyes you had and those soft fluffy ears.
You were the King of Pawlet. You knew when the hunters would bring in their deer to Machs Market for weighing, you always checked out what the girls at The Station might offer for goodies. And boy did you get me in big trouble everynight at supper. You could just tilt your sweet head and see what was on my dinner plate. How could I say no to you. You were at the shop for lots of years, greeting customers and sleeping at my feet or keeping them warm on chilly winter days. To think that you mostly stayed on the porch, except for your usual stroll down to the river and around the block. Or if a kitty was in sight..........
You could make me smile like no one else. You were the smartest dog, always trying to please and take care of me. Rocky and Maddie wll do their best. I shall miss you sooooooooo bad. Thank you for helping me find all the love in my heart and teaching me so many life lessons. love always, judy
